Project rebranding to nuqs

The original package name, next-usequerystate, is long to type, and strongly tied to only one part of the API exposed by this package. A shorter name, nuqs, will be its replacement. This repository will also be renamed.

Starting 2024-01-01 and with version 1.14.0, the package will be available under both the next-usequerystate and nuqs names, with mirrored versions, for the ^1.14.0 version range. When the next major version bump (2.0.0) occurs, the original next-usequerystate name will no longer receive publications, and the transition to the new name nuqs will be complete.

The roadmap doesn't have a planned date for the next major upgrade, as it may depend on breaking changes in the Next.js router APIs, or the Next.js team stabilising the windowHistorySupport experimental flag.

Migration guide

1. Remove the next-usequerystate package and replace it with nuqs
2. Rename imports:

- import {} from 'next-usequerystate'
- import {} from 'next-usequerystate/parsers' // deprecated
- import {} from 'next-usequerystate/server'
+ import {} from 'nuqs'
+ import {} from 'nuqs/server'
