I don't know if anyone else is following this anymore, but I believe I have a completely working copy on Laravel versions 5.1 to 5.8. I'm using it on a production site, so if there are any problems, I 've been trying to fix them as they come up. I know for a fact that the error handling does not trigger 403 errors correctly and I will probably put in a fix for that in a day or two, and I would like to rewrite the ipboard:test command to be more descriptive as well, as it currently just returns an exception in most cases.

I ended up purchasing the ipbwi plugin for v4. But then some months ago when Invision released 4.30 and removed IPS Connect, it completely fubared the use of the plugin, so I've just remained on 4.29 with no hopes of moving to a newer version as I have so many functionalities that depend on the REST API.

It's exciting to see that you've maintained and updated a fork to work on the latest Laravel @bddarwin, I'm curious to know if you're also hampered by the deprecation of IPS Connect. Are you using your fork with a version of IPB beyond 4.30? How are you handling SSO?

The current project I'm working on is a project that's really only been about a month in development, so I don't have anything more than an IP.Board 4.4.2 installation and a Laravel Nova installation with four users. It's being built directly with the requirement that it must work with a long running IP.Board install, always on the current version, with no access to anything but the API.

I'm going to eventually use IP.Board's OAuth connection to make accounts in Laravel, but when I tried last week to make it work, it literally returned successful in the API logs on IP.Board but Laravel never got the return information. I'm hoping to get that working in about a week, but since right now only a small subset of the community mods have access, it was easier to just create accounts for them manually.
