Hi @NancyWei123 and @JITENDRAGAHERWAR03, thanks for showing interest in improving the db test coverage

Since this is quite a broad area, it would be better to split the work into smaller chunks instead of covering the entire database layer in a single PR.

You both can work on around 3-4 database test cases/files at a time and open separate PRs for them. Once those are reviewed and merged, you can continue with additional coverage afterwards.

Please coordinate here regarding which files/functions each of you plan to cover so we can avoid overlapping work. Do not open PRs without discussing this here.

backend/app/database/metadata.py
backend/app/database/yolo_mapping.py
I’ll keep the PR focused on this small set first, and after it’s reviewed/merged, I can pick another database area.
