All money stored in cents (integer)
$25.99 = 2599 cents
Always use int type, never float

Important Invariants

Stock can never go negative — Reserve/release with pessimistic locks
Order totals are immutable after creation — Prices snapshot at checkout
One active cart per user — Enforced in getOrCreateCart
Idempotency keys prevent duplicate checkouts — Required Idempotency-Key header
Refunds cannot exceed order total — Specification validates remaining amount
Tenant data isolation — All queries automatically filtered by tenant_id
Super admins have no tenant — tenant_id = NULL for platform admins
One review per user per product — Unique constraint on (product_id, user_id)
