🚀 Quick Start

Requirements

Installation

  1. Download the latest release from GitHub Releases
  2. Extract the files
  3. Run AnimeQuoteWall.exe

That's it! The app will create its folders automatically.

🎮 How to Use

Basic Usage

  1. Generate - Click "Generate New Wallpaper"
  2. Preview - See your wallpaper before applying
  3. Apply - Click "Apply as Wallpaper"

Manage Content

  • Quotes Tab - Add or delete quotes
  • Backgrounds Tab - Add or delete background images
  • Animated Tab - Add video wallpapers

Advanced Features

Playlists (Auto-rotate wallpapers)

  1. Go to Playlists tab
  2. Click "Create Playlist"
  3. Add wallpapers and set a schedule
  4. Click "Enable" to start rotation

Multi-Monitor

  1. Go to Settings → Multi-Monitor
  2. Choose: Primary, All Monitors, or Per-Monitor
  3. Select your monitors

Animation Export

  1. Go to Animation tab
  2. Configure FPS and duration
  3. Click "Generate Animation"
  4. Export as GIF or MP4

📁 Where Files Are Stored

Your files are saved in:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\AnimeQuotes\
├── backgrounds/      # Your background images
├── playlists/       # Playlist settings
├── quotes.json      # Your quotes
├── current.png      # Generated wallpaper
└── settings.json    # App settings

You can change these locations in Settings.

🐛 Known Issues

  • Video wallpaper apply is experimental (enable in Settings)
  • Per-monitor wallpapers temporarily disabled
