switching keyboard/mouse to other connected device

Would this be in scope for a feature of this project?

I currently use a pair of bash scripts with the hidapitester binary to have my computer tell my keyboard and mouse to switch to the other machine they have connection to. This required me to channel ids and device ids through trial and error.

Would it be in scope for this project to be able to switch the keyboard and mouse? Not necessarily looking for the Flow behavior of triggering based on hitting the side of the screen. Some kind of hotkey would be fine. What would be even better but I don't know if it would even be possible would be to auto switch the mouse if the user uses the fn-device key combo on the keyboard that already switches the keyboard.
