Apologies if this is the wrong location.

From the documentation it reads like this is only working with model variants, not to do with material variants. However, the image provides context of Variants on materials. Can anyone confirm if material variants are possible through the manager, because it also notes that:

You must add Maya objects to an existing variant.

If we are able to "select" the variant in the manager, and continue to make edits to our USD materials and have those edits save to those variants, that would make sense. But I don't see that said anywhere in the docs.
