Code of Conduct

Our pledge

AxonOS is built in the open by people who care about doing hard engineering honestly. We want participation in the project to be a welcoming, harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of background, identity, or experience level.

Our standards

Examples of behaviour that helps:

  • being respectful, patient, and welcoming — especially to newcomers;
  • giving and accepting constructive, technical feedback in good faith;
  • focusing on what is best for the project and its users.

Examples of unacceptable behaviour:

  • harassment, insults, or discriminatory comments;
  • personal or political attacks;
  • publishing others' private information without permission;
  • sustained disruption of discussions or review.

Honesty is part of conduct

Because trust is the project's foundation, knowingly misrepresenting results — presenting unmeasured claims as measured, or passing off others' work as your own — is treated as a conduct issue, not just a technical one.

Enforcement

Maintainers may remove, edit, or reject contributions, comments, and participants that violate this code. To report a concern, email connect@axonos.org. Reports will be handled confidentially and in good faith.

This Code of Conduct is adapted in spirit from the Contributor Covenant.
