Custom Cards in Sidebar

Hello,

First, I’d like to say that your work is fantastic. I’m trying to implement your custom cards in the sidebar, but I can't seem to get them to show up. Regardless of which card I use, they don't appear to trigger. Am I missing a specific step to use them there?

so you paste in a card for example gauge card

than it looks like this
