Tab Switcher Extension

This is a simple Safari extension that allows you to quickly switch to the previously active tab.

Features

  • Switch to the last used tab with a keyboard shortcut.

How to Install and Use

  1. Open Safari and go to Safari > Settings.
  2. Click on the Advanced tab and check the box for Show Develop menu in menu bar.
  3. In the menu bar, go to Develop > Allow Unsigned Extensions.
  4. Go to Develop > Add Extension... and select the project folder.
  5. Go back to Safari > Settings > Extensions and check the box next to Tab Switcher Extension to enable it.
  6. You can now use the keyboard shortcut to switch between your current and last active tab.

  • macOS: Command+Shift+E
