+The Schwerin loop. The A14 runs north from the A20/A24 junction near Schwerin, circling the city and its castle. Five exits through the Schweriner See landscape. The road built under DDR to frame the state capital and its historic centre. The Schloss visible from some sections - the ducal palace standing above the lakes. Unrestricted speed on empty stretches. The road is quieter than its strategic position suggests.

The city centre's medieval character, 3 kilometres from the motorway but invisible.
