The Artefact. The Requirement. The Test Environment. The user is not in the Test Environment — they are in the frustration the tests don't measure.

Orders

Verify it. Does the Artefact do what the Requirement said it should? The position does not ask whether the Requirement said the right thing.

Loses

The real world. They were certain the Test Environment was close enough to production. It is close enough to find what breaks. It is not close enough to find what frustrates.

Drives

On the loss of the real world — The Test Result passes. The Change moves forward.
