The taxonomy. Built without knowing it was being built. The sound of the door and what it means. The weight of the morning and what it means. The weather in the kitchen and what it means. All of it filed. None of it named.
Be fine. The position does not issue this order directly. The house issues it. The position receives it before language arrives and carries it out before understanding what is being carried.
The not-sorting. They were certain the feelings were about ordinary things - a bad night's sleep, a difficult day, the general weather of being alive. The feelings are not about those things. The feelings are accurate readings of a house that has something in it that nobody is naming. The body knew before the mind did. The mind is still catching up.
On the loss of the not-sorting - asks if everything is okay before putting the bag down. Organises themselves around not being the thing that makes it worse. Carries the Thing out of the house and back in again every day without knowing they are carrying anything. This is how the Wound moves to the next generation. Not handed over. Absorbed.
