Process: Finding

One egg. Local relief. The search continues.

The Finder has located an Egg. The place has given something up. The Hider knows this has happened. The search is not over.

Direction

Toward the moment of contact — the Finder arriving at what the Hider placed. Two theories of each other, meeting at one object.

Lever

The Finder's expectation meeting the Egg as found.

The carrying force: the excitement of location — the Finder was right about something. The place, the Hider, the direction. Something worked.

The resistance: the gap. What the Hider placed is not always what the Finder expected to find. The Egg may delight. It may puzzle. It may disappoint. The Finder cannot ask the Hider what was meant. Not yet. The search is still live.

Relief is local. The full account is not yet settled. Under finder keeps: the Egg is now held. Under settled shares: the count shifts. Pressure redistributes across remaining Finders.

Echo

One Egg is held. The place holds fewer eggs than before. The Hider's picture has one fewer unknown.

If eggs remain: The Search continues. If this was the last egg: The Settlement runs.
