Tool Suggestion: M365-Debloater (Official ODT Method)

Hi Chris and the WinUtil Community,

I would like to suggest adding my open-source tool, M365-Debloater, to the utility (specifically the Install or Microsoft Office section).

It solves the common problem where Microsoft 365 forces unwanted apps like Teams, Skype, or Access onto a clean system. Standard uninstalls often trigger a self-repair that brings the bloat back, so this tool uses a more surgical approach.

How it works

Unlike simple script-based file deletions, this tool uses the Official Microsoft Office Deployment Tool (ODT) engine:

1. Nuke: It performs a full, clean removal of the existing Office suite using a custom XML configuration.
2. Pave: It immediately re-installs a sterile version of M365, strictly excluding the apps selected by the user in the UI.
3. Hard-Lock: It applies Registry tweaks to the ExcludedApps flags to prevent these components from returning during future Office updates.
