Chat messages disapear

Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. More often than not they don't.
Seems to be related to sending your move.

I was playing around with chat from a test account (in firefox) chatting with my real account (in Chrome). The chat works flawlessly, appears instantly and is very reliable when both players have that exact match open at the same time. But, in every other situation, the messages take a long time to appear or experience other bugs (like disappearing from the sender account temporarily or double messages appearing sometimes). This is true even when both players are actively logged into FA and one player is looking at a different game.

I wish I had more insights to share but hope this helps.

This one is a bit tricky because I'm mixing real-time chat with saving messages to the database for future display (since in a real time chat the chat history is deleted if both players leave the game). Since writing to and reading from the db takes time, you get issues like the ones you describe. Plus the fact that every time a turn is sent the game 'resets' to update itself with the new data. But yes, I need to tackle it at one point.
