Feature request: show different backgrounds also in workspace switcher

I'm trying the extension in Gnome 3.32, on Arch Linux. The workspace switcher, which appears at right edge of screen when pressing windows/super? key and shows all work spaces and the windows, currently shows the background of the current workspace replicated over all workspaces. It would be nice if the workspace switcher would show each workspace with its own background - I would like to use the backgrounds to mark the workspaces for different tasks.

Got the same thing on Gnome 40.5 there fore in the new gnome 40 applications menu.
