Basic PIM Topology

I've been struggling to create functioning PIM environment in FRR. I can't seem the get potential multicast participants to join a group, the multicast routing table won't populate. What would be the minimum config for a Source, RP , and Receiver. I've attempted in GNS3 and across multiple VMs in VMware.

I verified full unicast reachability via ospf prior to configuring the RP.

Have you looked in tests/topotests? There are a bunch of pim tests in there. You can find basic configs and some basic layouts that you should be able to grab.
