Mic stopped working on macOS after recent update

What happened?

Today, after the new update release, the mic has stopped working for me when playing the game on Mac. (MacBook Air M1, macOS 26.3.1)

It seems that the game isn’t calling the mic API as there is no yellow light that indicates a microphone being in use by the system.

Note that the system mic is identified by the game correctly but is simply not being used.

Reproduction steps

1. Launch the game
2. Notice in the setting menu the mic volume bar is gray (not picking up any sound)

Those looking for a temporary workaround, use Crossover or Whisky. Game runs fine through Wine
