Linux build procedure

I'd really appreciate some help with getting this built on Linux, as I'm eager to try and fix up some of the broken tracks and make visual improvements to the originals.

On an X11 machine just

cd WhipLib
make
cd ../TrackEditor
./updateMakefile.sh
make

I am now realizing that building this is a pain in the butt on wayland machines though. I will have to fix this.

My distro's glibc is too old for me to do this atm. Will probably get round to trying it on another machine in due course.
