Connection path configuration

Hello,

First, many thanks for this library, it helps us a lot in our project !

I opened this request because we would like to have the possibility to make the user able to choose the path of the connections, so that it can pass around other nodes and make the diagram more readable.

The idea can be to grab the line of the connection and pull it to the bottom/left/right/top so that it makes a curves.

Would it be possible to add such a feature in a future release?

Please let my know if I'm not cleat enough.

At the moment, this feature isn’t in our plans. We’ll keep an eye on the request, and if it gains more interest or fits into a future update, we may revisit it later.

Good news: we’ve added this capability in v18.0.0 🎉

You can now route connections around nodes using Connection Waypoints:

• Add <f-connection-waypoints> inside your <f-connection>
• Drag a candidate point on the connection to create a new waypoint
• Drag an existing waypoint to move it and reshape the path
• Right-click a waypoint to remove it
