Now unable to load Steam using glib-eac 2.42

I am using base Arch Linux. I have tested it with the normal glibc also and Steam works fine. These errors have suddenly started happening and I believe it may have been due to a Steam update because I hadnt updated anything between it happening.

Im not familiar with glibc's engineering so, figured id put up an issue since I likely wont be the only one.

After further experimentation, all of my EAC games seem to work without glibc-eac now? Including Star Citizen and Ghost Recon Wildlands?

I am guessing this had made glibc-eac obsolete for the time being at least?

Most EAC games should be working with distro provided glibc at this point in time. However there are a few that aren't, and probably never will because of legacy impl and no planned update, or simply some weird ones. Those - now rare, thankfully - games will need the patched up lib to work.

Now regarding your issue, I'll have a look, but it definitely looks like a simple need for a rebuild against current env. I just started a rebuild in the CI.
