Statically.io CDN fails on every other request

Behavior:

• I've noticed that our experiment has been "freezing" (only the HTML loads, but no other assets).
• It happens c. 50% of time and sometimes a refresh can solve it; it happens 100% of the time when I open an incognito window
• It happens only if env()==prod

Solution: switch to env="dev" to load all assets locally.

Stipple/Genie code seems perfectly correct, it might be a vendor issue.
When it happens, it happens to 80% of the files (not all, some usually load). It's inconsistent.

From a performance standpoint, it's not recommended to use dev in production. So it would be best to figure out the problem or switch just the assets to local assets, and keep the env as prod. Yes, I can see the slowdown, on the first load it's quite significant but I had no choice as it was happening too frequently.
I'll explore the CDN disabling while keeping it in PROD!
