i get error when build omegafold using python 3.11.4

Were you able to figure this out? When I try to build I get a similar error for python 3.11.7 and 3.11.8.

It's because of the way the code is written it only supports python versions 3.8, 3.9, and 3.10.

I had the same issue. what i did is changing the source code to

if sys.version_info[:2] == (3, 8):
_ver = "cp38"
elif sys.version_info[:2] == (3, 9):
_ver = "cp39"
elif sys.version_info[:2] == (3, 10):
_ver = "cp310"
else:

and it worked

Alternatively, you can remove that piece of code in setup.py that is to download and install pytorch:

And create a specific conda environment for installing pytorch. There is no problem with PyTorch 2.6.0
