How to prevent unintended triggering of reuploading all previously uploaded replays

Recently, I encountered the situation multiple times that a reupload of all my (5700 something) already uploaded replays got triggered by the app.
There was a whole rescan of the whole replay folder.

Obviously they all got (correctly) detected as duplicate.
Only a handful of new replays were detected as a success.

I do not know what triggers the rescanning.
I happens sometimes, but not everytime I start the Heroes Profile Uploader v2.5.1

Should I upload a log file? Though, the .txt file is 10MB large, lol.

The only method for this to occur as far as I know is if it cant find the file located at

%appdata%\heroesprofile

replays_v8.xml

Do you have some process that cleans out that folder/file?

Not that I know of.
replays_v8.xml currently holds 34959 lines. Does that exceed some kind of limit in the code?

The file was created November 2022, so the file itself does not get deleted.

Weirdly enough, when I open the app and while all replays are still there, it starts scanning from the last 30 replays or something (real fast, so I don't know the exact number it starts from).

How many replays do you have? Maybe move your existing replays out of your hots folder and then delete that xml file and it will rebuild it

Or some combination of the above. More than 10k lines seems odd

I think the number of lines is as expected.
Got ~ 57xx replays.
6 lines per replay.

My recommendation still stands though. Might be the xml file is corrupt.

So either delete it and let it reupload all the files again, or move the files out of the hots folder and delete the file and see how it behaves.

So far no one else has mentioned this occurring so it's likely something with your system.
