After nearly 25 years of service, ImageMagick 6 is entering its final phase. Effective today, ImageMagick 6 will no longer receive bug fixes or general maintenance. Security updates will continue until April 1, 2029, at which point ImageMagick 6 will reach full end‑of‑life.
We encourage all users to migrate to ImageMagick 7, which offers a modern architecture, improved performance, and ongoing feature development.
