I’m experiencing an issue with the fullscreen player gestures in PipePipe.
My current gesture settings are:
Volume gesture: ON Brightness gesture: ON Playback-speed gesture: ON Swipe up/down to enter or exit fullscreen: OFF Swipe left/right to seek: OFF Tap-to-seek: ON
Even with the enter/exit fullscreen and swipe-to-seek gestures disabled, the enabled vertical gestures do not always work correctly.
The main problem seems to be the title/channel-area swipe-down gesture that minimizes the fullscreen player to the mini-player. When I try to use a vertical gesture for volume, brightness, or playback speed, PipePipe sometimes interprets the gesture as a swipe-down on the title area instead. The player then starts minimizing instead of performing the intended gesture.
Because of this, the gesture can stutter or behave inconsistently. Sometimes I have to completely lift my finger from the screen and try again before the intended gesture works. Occasionally, a vertical swipe also causes the video title, channel name, and other information to appear even though I am still in fullscreen.
I have attached a screen recording showing these issues. My finger/touch points are visible in the recording, so the exact gesture and where I perform it should be clear.
Feature request:
Could you please add an option to disable the fullscreen title-area swipe-down-to-mini-player gesture?
I think this would prevent the gesture conflict and allow the volume, brightness, and playback-speed gestures to work more reliably.
I also don't find the title swipe-down-to-mini-player gesture particularly useful. When auto-rotation is disabled, using it can leave the app in landscape orientation after minimizing, which is inconvenient.
I understand that this behavior may originate from NewPipe, but since PipePipe extends NewPipe with additional functionality, having an option to disable this particular gesture would be a useful improvement.

Open any YouTube video in PipePipe and enter fullscreen mode.

While the video is playing in fullscreen, perform a vertical swipe in the appropriate area to change the volume, brightness, or playback speed.

Instead of smoothly performing the intended gesture, the player may sometimes start moving/minimizing toward the mini-player, as if the title/channel area had been swiped down.

When this happens, lifting the finger and trying the gesture again may make it work normally.

Also, while performing a vertical swipe in fullscreen, the player may sometimes scroll/reveal the video title, channel name, and other information that normally appears when the player is minimized, even though fullscreen mode is still active.

Repeat the volume, brightness, or playback-speed gestures several times. The unintended minimization or appearance of the title/channel information can occur intermittently.
