Variables in the editor

Hello,

I'm using your component to create notifications templates
I need to use variables in the code such for : {firstname}, {lastname} , ...

Does it possible to add some mechanism to be able to pick a variable quickly ?
A select searchable box for example

This is actually something on my todo list to implement, I think it would be a great addition!
