What happened?

I had the same problem that's described in the following thread:
#566
but it's already closed.

Unfortunately, the thread is already closed so I can't post a comment there.

As I already said, I had the same problems and now I found a link with a description
on how to install oh-my-posh with Git Bash for Windows.

It's working for me so I thought it'll be good to see for other users with the same
problem. I should mention that I didn't install oh-my-posh with winget, but with the
installer form the release section "install-arm64.msi" version v29.14.0 coz I wanted
the themes installed all at once to test them.

I actually explained everything in detail. I had the exact same problem as described in #566
I have included a link to the guide that helped me.
Unfortunately, I could no longer reply to the original post coz it was already closed.
I had hoped my response could be added to issue #566 to help others facing the same problem.
If this contribution is considered inappropriate, feel free to delete it.

Not at all, I was just wondering if I needed to do something. Do know I'm not supporting git bash as I consider it to be an abomination. If you're looking for a more unix like experience that's still native, try NuShell on Windows.

I also don't use Git Bash very often myself, as I tend to use Git Fork or the IDE directly for those tasks.
I did use Git Bash for the Git configuration in the past, though, and I figured that since a fantastic tool
like oh-my-posh exists, I wanted all the command-line tools on my machine to use it (even if I wasn't
using Git Bash anymore 😀).
When I noticed other oh-my-posh users having trouble configuring Git Bash, I simply wanted to share
the link that worked for me.
That said, I’m still going to give NuShell for Windows a try. I believe it’s always good to be familiar with
various quality tools, you never know when you might need them.
