[GSoC] Introduction & Interested In Project #3 Power Tower Inspection

Hi everyone,

I’m Guilherme from Brazil, a Computer Engineering student interested in GSoC 2026 with JdeRobot, especially the RoboticsAcademy-related projects.

I’ve already set up RoboticsAcademy locally and completed my technical demo challenge. Here is my demo video:

In the demo I show:

• Follow Line
• Drone Follow Road

My main background is Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, and computer vision. I’m especially interested in perception, robotics, and deep learning-based applications.

I’m now exploring the repositories more seriously and would appreciate guidance on the best first contribution and the most relevant code areas to study for my proposal.

Hi @guiabbehusen ,

nice solutions to Follow Line and Drone Follow Road exercises. Maybe you can also play with BasicComputerVision and VisualObjectDetection exercises :-) The last one involves the training of a DeepLearning network.

Currently betatesting of all the exercises is the best way of contributing, take a look at the open issues about betatesting. Feel free to report here your feedback as betatester of the exercises you have played with.
