Oven stale temperature readings

Amazing work! All sensors are reporting back now.

However, I do have one that is a bit wonky. This oven hasn't been used in several days and there's no chance the temperature is over 400 degrees.

Updated to v16.0.0 and still see stale oven temperatures, in both ovens. Let me know if you need logs or other data.

thanks, still trying to track this one down, its a strange one. i have a range and a wall oven and they both report quite differently. i'll let you know if i need more data from you

My experience is that it reports the cavity temperature from the last time the oven was on, once you turn the oven off the temperature remains at the last reported value. I also suspect (just like the oven display) once the oven reaches the set temperature it just reports that value, and not the actual thermistor reading.

What oven/range model(s) do you have? Because that is true with one of mine, but definitely not with the other. It’s quite odd.

I'm seeing the same behavior as @mwbourgeois with my DF48850SP 48" Dual Fuel Range from 2024. It will only show the last reported oven temperature prior to turning off. It won't report any new temperatures after that.
