Is this plugin compatible with OpenBao and acme?

I would like to understand whether this plugin is compatible with OpenBao. The documentation does not explicitly mention OpenBao support, and it is unclear whether the plugin can be used without modification in environments where OpenBao is deployed.

It would also be great if this plugin could be used as an ACME server controlled by OpenBao policies and roles, similar to how OpenBao’s PKI secret engine can be managed.

From my understanding after talking with some of the OpenBao devs is that this plugin should work as is since the same API is maintained between the two PKI secret engine.

There is no plans to add ACME support to this plugin. EJBCA enterprise has ACME support that far surpasses anything Vault does. You could either use cert-manager if your trying to do ACME in K8's or use ACME directly with EJBCA enterprise.
