All Sikhs are instructed to accept the Guru Granth as the Guru.
Sabh Sikhān ko hukam hai Guru māniō Granth ॥
ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਜੀ ਮਾਨਿਓ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਕੀ ਦੇਹ ॥
Accept Guru Granth Ji as the visible embodiment of the Gurus.
Guru Granth Jī māniō pragat Gurā̃ kī deh ॥
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੋ ਮਿਲਬੋ ਚਾਹੈ ਖੋਜ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਮਹਿ ਲੇਹ ॥
Whoever wishes to meet the Divine should seek Him through the Shabad (Divine Word).
Jo Prabh ko milbo chāhai khoj Shabad meh leh ॥
ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਆਕੀ ਰਹੈ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥
The Khalsa shall rule, and no oppressor will remain.
Rāj karegā Khālsā ākī rahai na koī ॥
ਖੁਆਰ ਹੋਏ ਸਭ ਮਿਲੈਂਗੇ ਬਚੇ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਜੋ ਹੋਇ ॥
Those who oppose will be humbled; only those who take refuge will be saved.
Khuār hoe sabh milenge bache sharan jo hoe ॥
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਮ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹੈ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਸੋ ਉਤਰੇ ਪਾਰ ॥
The Name of Waheguru is a ship; whoever boards it crosses over safely.
Wāheguru nām jahāj hai chadhe so utare pār ॥
ਜੋ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਕਰਿ ਸੇਵਦੇ ਗੁਰ ਪਾਰ ਉਤਾਰਨਹਾਰ ॥
Those who serve with faith are carried across by the Guru.
Jo shardhā kar sevde Gur pār utāranhār ॥
ਖੰਡਾ ਜਾਕੇ ਹਾਥ ਹੈ ਕਲਗੀ ਸੋਹੈ ਸੀਸ ॥
The one who holds the double-edged sword and wears the plume on the head (symbol of sovereignty and courage).
Khaṇḍā jāke hāth hai kalgī sohai sīs ॥
ਸੋ ਹਮਰੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕਲਗੀਧਰ ਜਗਦੀਸ ॥
May Guru Gobind Singh, the Divine Lord, protect us.
So hamrī rakhyā kare Gur Kalgīdhār Jagdees ॥
