Misinterpreting FFMETADATA1 line breaks in MKV

MediaInfo is currently (v26.05) misinterpreting line breaks in FFMETADATA1 metadata, specified by the escape character \ (backslash), written to MKV as a simple / (slash), not rendering descriptions as expected.

Doesn't MediaInfo display all line breaks as / ? It always does so for descriptions and lyrics of all file formats.

The \ is for FFmpeg command line, not what is inside the MKV.
Carriage returns are currently mapped to / in MediaInfo as we don't want to have line breaks in the output, at least by default.
We need to have an option for permitting them if the user knows what are the risks with them.

Maybe can map them to <br> in HTML output for easier reading of descriptions and lyrics which now has lots of slashes.

I was thinking to the text output, it has no separation of different fields, but true, HTML output should be fine with <br>.

But the carriage returns are all already replaced in filling stage so cannot easily map to <br> only for HTML now.
