Jira Gerrit Plugin occupied all the http threads

Hi,

All the http threads were occupied by Jira Gerrit Plugin for connecting to a Gerrit server, because of occupying all the threads by Plugin the application went down we were unable to access the Jira Application, We would like to know why Jira Gerrit plugin is occupying all the http threads? This was happened to our two jira applications and Atlassian vendor also concluded that because of all http thread utilization by Jira Gerrit Plugin, So we were unable to access those jira applications. As of now we disabled the Jira Gerrit Plugin But we would love to use it if you provide any permanent solution for less utilization of http threads . This is very high priority,
