[Bug]: "Insufficient balance" error shows up while I'm still typing the amount

Describe the bug

When I'm using an external token to pay, I get an "insufficient balance" error flashing on screen while I'm still entering the bet amount. It goes away once I stop typing, but it's distracting and makes it look like something is wrong.

Expected behavior

No error while I'm still typing. The balance check should only kick in after I finish entering the amount.

3. Start typing a bet amount on the keypad
