Tabs manager on Edge for Android loses focus on the opened tab when its icon is clicked

There is a bug in Edge for Android, Tabs manager (the one behind the triple squares icon) loses focus on the opened tab when its icon is clicked and it starts an auto scroll to the beginning of the Tabs list. The screen recording below illustrates the problem.
