Feature request - Standalone version

Hello,

I wonder if it would be possible to create a standalone version, so it can be used with kitty/wezterm/zellij ?
For example tmux-thumbs can be executed standalone, but it is failling to send the output to the clipboard (thumbs -u | wl-copy)

This would be interesting, but right now the code is highly coupled to tmux: configuration is done through .tmux.conf, and input is entirely handled through tmux.

A standalone mode would be easier to design if the input source is defined first. Should it read from stdin, from a captured terminal buffer, or from an arbitrary text file? If it no longer depends on tmux for pane capture and key dispatch, the issue should probably separate the selection engine from the tmux integration layer.
