TransTrack / TransTrackMedical Trademark Notice

This file gives third parties constructive notice of the unregistered (common-law) trademarks used by the TransTrack project, the date of first use in commerce, and the limits of the permission granted by the project's software license.

This notice is published in good faith. It is not legal advice, and it does not modify the terms of the LICENSE file in this repository.

1. Marks claimed

3. Authorized contact and authorized distribution

The only authoritative contacts for the TransTrack project are:

  • Repository: https://github.com/NeuroKoder3/TransTrackMedical-TransTrack
  • Releases: https://github.com/NeuroKoder3/TransTrackMedical-TransTrack/releases

The only authoritative distribution channel for compiled installers is the GitHub Releases page above. Official installer artifact names follow these patterns:

  • TransTrack-<semver>-x64.exe (Windows)

  • TransTrack-<semver>.AppImage (Linux)

Any other email address, support page, "purchase" page, payment link, archive, installer, or "official" channel that claims to represent TransTrack — including but not limited to addresses at the domains transtrackmedical.org, transtrack.org, transtrackmedical.com, or any payment link not published from this repository — is not affiliated with this project and should be treated as fraudulent.

4. Relationship to the software license

The TransTrack software in this repository is governed by the LICENSE file in this repository. The software license does not grant any trademark, brand, logo, identity, or "designation of origin" rights.

In particular, the software license does not grant any person permission to:

  • a) host, distribute, sell, or "support" any compiled binary, installer, archive, or service under the TransTrack / TransTrackMedical names that is not built directly from a tagged release of this repository;
  • b) operate any landing page, download page, GitHub Pages site, web property, or "official" support channel under the TransTrack / TransTrackMedical names;
  • c) solicit payment under the TransTrack / TransTrackMedical names;
  • d) represent themselves as the TransTrack project, its maintainers, "TransTrack Medical Software," or any agent thereof;
  • e) use the TransTrack / TransTrackMedical names, marks, logos, descriptive copy, screenshots, or product identity in any manner likely to cause confusion as to the source of goods or services.

Any reuse, redistribution, or operation without explicit written authorization and valid activation/license entitlement is prohibited.

5. Enforcement

Unauthorized use of the marks listed in section 1 — including but not limited to "lookalike" repositories, GitHub Pages sites, package registry entries, social-media profiles, or download/payment pages that copy this project's name, descriptive copy, branding, or identity — is grounds for, at the maintainer's option:

  • A report under the GitHub Trademark Policy;
  • A report under the GitHub Acceptable Use Policies (impersonation, misleading content, malware, or fraud, as applicable);
  • A DMCA takedown notice for any verbatim use of TransTrack source code, prose, screenshots, or icons under GitHub's DMCA Takedown Policy;
  • A complaint to the relevant payment processor (PayPal, Stripe, etc.) for any payment link that references the TransTrack name without authorization;
  • A referral to law-enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) and any equivalent national authority, where the unauthorized use coincides with distribution of malicious software or with payment fraud;
  • Any other remedy available under United States federal and state unfair-competition law, including but not limited to a claim of false designation of origin under Section 43(a) of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1125(a).

6. Reporting

To report a suspected unauthorized use of the TransTrack / TransTrackMedical marks, please email Trans_Track@outlook.com with the following:

  1. The URL(s) of the suspected unauthorized use;
  2. A short description of how you encountered it;
  3. Any screenshots, archived snapshots (e.g., web.archive.org), or hashes of suspect files;
  4. Whether you believe the user / page is also distributing malicious software, soliciting payment, or impersonating the maintainer.

7. Effective date

This trademark notice is effective as of the date of the commit that adds it to this repository, asserted retroactively to the date of first use (24 January 2026) for all purposes of constructive notice.
