UI bug: contacts - pressing 3 dots -> delete , then clicking delete fails to update multi-select state

I go into contacts, I press 3 dots -> delete , then click delete in modal confirmation.

Contact gets deleted properly - but contacts UI is not updated - still shows "2 contacts selected":
