Disable water rendering (i.e force classic water)

Hello!

I find vkQuake a great way to re-play this gem at full resolution with all the bells and whistles. But I also would like to play this as original as possible. You can already set to use the classic renderer, but this doesn't disable the water rendering. Is there a way to disable the water rendering and go back to the classic one?
