All Tags flashed with FW show "DEBUG" on screen. FW working otherways

Tags in use are "M3 2,6" NEWTON BWR Normal", flashing works fine, the tags show up in AP.
But there is a message on all there screens showing "DEBUG" in red letters.

Will add photo later if needed.

I had the same issue if I flashed to the firmware in the repo. it's because it's not a 'release' yet. I had to flash back using the AP OTA, then all was good. The only way to get rid of the DEBUG message is if you recompiled the FW in the repo yourself (or they ever 'release' this version). For reference, my tags show:

400x300 fw:41 0x29```

The one here in the repo should be showing fw:42 so your options are, deal with it and wait for a release, compile yourself or revert back (like I did) to fw 41.

Just found out that the DEBUG_EPD option was set in the settings.h file. If you disable the line the debug badge disappears.
But it seems that this version is not really stable since the tag keeps refreshing the screen even in deep sleep
