The Layers bar is more compact in the Nightly version. I am satisfied with that. Although I hope the upper bar is a little smaller vertically. |

I have a resolution of 1366x768. I like Pixelorama but I feel that your option to adapt interface is not very flexible for my resolution and ends up being very large or very small. In addition, I think that Layers and animation section is very large in size.
I will make it clear that I know that Pixelorama sections can be resolved, as well as making floating windows, and that the source can affect the size of objects in the interface. But I don't feel they are very comfortable for me.
Look at the following images and make an idea of what I say. I will add comparatives from other drawing environments.
1x Scale, 10 font: I like it, but, as you can see, 3 layers are sorry and the right section feels something heavy. Things how to control the configuration of both clicks is somewhat uncomfortable. Layer's previous view cannot be seen smaller than that.
The size of the right section (in which the color selection, palettes and mouse tools are located) are fine with that size. In doing so smaller, some are uncomfortable to use. I say it specifically for the tool settings of each click.

Right section when smaller. As can be noted, although the bars fit when growing, they have a minimum limit.
0.75 Scale, 16 font: The icons look bad and some parts of the interface have blurred lyrics. The windows are very small when you open them for the first time. You can see more layers, I like that. It is the one I am currently using.
I consider that miniatures could be smaller as in Aseprite, which are only icons. Since they occupy vertical space. In addition, the opacity bar cannot be smaller and the size it is unnecessary is unnecessary to me but it's okay.
In short, one seems very big and somewhat uncomfortable and slow (respect to layers navigation and delay when you have to adjust the interface sometimes) and the other seems small but not so small and the icons are too small and look bad.
Another UIs.
Aseprite with Dark Mort HD (Big Font) theme

His interface seems a bit complicated to understand at the beginning but, if we talk about comfort, I like that he does not take much space. You can see 7 layers. I think that Pixelorama should have a similar system that, when you are very small, change miniatures for small symbols.
Pixel Studio
It is an interface mainly for mobile phones and I consider that the space occupied by the interface on the screen is well thought out. Although there are some uncomfortable things for PC.
Simple Template: I really like this, I believe that it could also be an alternative way to present the layer of layers and animation. The frames are above and under the layers. Each frame has different layers.

Advanced Template:

Even being advanced, it seems compact based to me. Note that frame and animation tools are small icons.
I wonder if you think the same as me or I am the only one.
