Placing storage vertically above a controller does not link

Steps to reproduce

1. Place a controller
2. Place a storage block (eg sophisticated barrel) above the controller

Expected results

The storage will link

Actual Results

The storage does not link.
The storage cannot be force linked with the linking tool.
Placing the controller below the storage block does correctly link.

Minecraft 1.20.1
Force 47.4.13
Sophisticated Core 1.3.2.1468
Sophisitcated Storage 1.4.23.1468

Please update the mods first this sounds like an issue that I fixed a long time ago and there were 60 releases after yor version in 1.20.1
