I spotted an issue with the "Shortcut mode"

Hello, I spotted a bug with the "Shortcut Mode (no letters no and no shift)". When I select that mode and press any keyboard letter it would show the black window that is blank and then it won't go. I have recorded a small video to show what it is. Its in AV1 so ping me if you can't play it.

Another bug is that it won't disappear once triggered by the above way. It will only go away if a short cut is hit.
