Bottom navigation bar displaced

Freshly installed the app so I am surprised there isn't any talk about this already.

I disabled the navbar labels in settings so that part is normal. But the navbar stays in the pushed up position no matter what I do in the app. Pixel 8a, updated to Android 17 like a week ago so that might be why it didnt come up before.

You know, my phone has done that before. Like, it's going into full screen mode or something.

I just noticed when I tab back into the app there is a little flicker in the navbar border, might be helpful for diagnosing I suppose

What happens if you enable 'Show button labels' in UI settings?
