Insert mode: swap

Hi!

How can I enable the swap mode? The mode is always grayed out with "after" selected.
When I have to swap 2 channels (like an SD and a HD) the channel is moved to the new position and the other are shifted while I would like to swap the channels!

In the changelog I've found this, but I wasn't able to do it: on the double click on the right the channel is just moved after the left one position with all the above shifted by ONE... :-(
