Rich live display appears to break

I unfortunately don't have much in the way of an explanation here.. but with an MCP server I wrote, it seems that 100% of the time, the rich display stops updating in place and instead starts spamming the terminal with output. It starts out okay, but then after a few tool calls, starts vigorously spamming the terminal, redrawing the entire set of panels on every update. I've tried to debug this as much as I can, but I'm not super familiar with rich and the robots haven't been a big help either. If anyone can help me debug this, I'd be very grateful.

i feel like i've seen this before with rich panels in general. bit of a random question but are you scrolling in your terminal when you see the "spamming" behavior?

No, I'm not. But I am in tmux... I seem to have better luck outside of tmux. Still not perfect though.
