Hardware: Raspberry Pi 5
OS: RaspiOS Trixie
Keyboard: Keychron K10 Pro (full size, set to Windows mode)
Problem:
Pressing Shift+2 produces " instead of @. This is consistent with a UK keyboard layout despite the system being configured for US layout.
Current localectl status:
System Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8
VC Keymap: (unset)
X11 Layout: us
X11 Model: pc105
Steps already attempted:
Verified /etc/default/keyboard shows XKBLAYOUT="us" and XKBMODEL="pc105"
Ran sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration and selected English (US)
Ran sudo localectl set-x11-keymap us pc105
Ran sudo localectl set-keymap us
Rebooted after each attempt
setxkbmap does not work as Trixie uses Wayland
Note: VC Keymap remains unset after all attempts. This may be the root cause.
