Showcase: Dictly Whisper - offline Windows dictation app built with faster-whisper

Hi maintainers,

I built an open-source Windows dictation app called Dictly Whisper using faster-whisper as the transcription engine.

What it does:

• offline push-to-talk dictation
• local Whisper transcription
• desktop waveform overlay
• settings for model, beam size, backend, and theme
• packaged Windows EXE so non-technical users can run it without installing Python

Why faster-whisper was a good fit:

• reliable local transcription
• practical CPU performance
• simple path to package into a desktop app
